Strange Brew

Your work has a very pleasing peacefulness as a throughout theme. In the same time you don't let it become boring by having those small cute insects crawling everywhere. Liveliness in a delicate manner.

The composition is in my opinion well balanced, with the leading diagonal from the upper left corner to the lower right corner. Generally, the color spots create again a calm atmosphere in the work.

On the other hand, it might appear a bit confusing for us watchers to see where you emphasise, where the focus should land. (You maybe did this on purpose, in that case it was just me.) That happens because of the slight lack of contrast, either by using lines which have almost the same width or shadowing modestly. The colour levels tool in Gimp has rescued me many times there. But again, that is my highly personal opinion.

In conclusion, I like the childish fairytale-feeling this drawing awakens in me. A window to your world.
