Death of Society

we all walk alone ignored by love and separated by hate, looking for the answers too little too late.
Insults thrown like rain drops of a storm, spreading from one to another with no time to mourn.
laws overlooked and freedoms neglected, forgotten dreams no longer respected.
fed medications till our minds are lost, abandoning our reality at any cost.
Shredded souls beaten down by rejection, dieing from a new man made infection.
used as an example and worn out by pride, in a world so willing to accept the lies.
Health fading and patience torn, tainted with implied limitations given the day we were born.
Self serving society with high expectations on demand, it is a flawed system without human compassion in hand.
Broken promises made at a whim, if your word means nothing to you then why should it mean anything to them?
society has become too greedy to balance the scales of give and take, too selfish to learn how to negotiate.
Searching for peace in a world built on wars, we live in a land made of broken doors.
For opportunity to knock another man must fall, standing on the backs of others just to seem tall.
A shattered heart filled with unforgiving pain, created by those who lay the blame.
society is made with every decision we each make, every thing done to others can just as easily become our own fate.
